Karen Hemmes, aka, DJ Hemmesphere has been DJing for 16 years, building an impressive career that began at the age of 18 in Show Low, AZ. Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, her love for music started early, learning guitar at age 10 and participating in school choirs and performances. Inspired by the energy of DJs at music festivals, she quickly mastered her craft and became the resident DJ at a local bar. In 2011, she moved to Scottsdale, AZ, to pursue bigger opportunities and rapidly made a name for herself in the Arizona nightlife scene.

Her talent earned her the chance to perform alongside renowned artists Ciara, Bingo Players, Timmy Trumpet, Zeds Dead, Felix Cartal, Kristina Sky, Chuckie, MAKJ, Flux Pavillion, Will Sparks, Tiger Lily, and Destructo. She also performed at Wet Electric in 2012 and 2013, the Waterpark Pool Party music festival.

 

In 2016, she was named one of the top 10 female DJs in Arizona further establishing her as a leading figure in the industry. Beyond clubs and festivals, DJ Hemmesphere expanded her work to weddings, corporate events, and private parties, showcasing her versatility across genres like hip-hop, EDM, rock, and pop.
